State Street Village
Previous
State Street Village is a new student housing complex on the corner of 33rd and State Street.
The project consists of 3, five-story buildings between State Street and the Green 'L' tracks. The buildings contain 367 in two suite style buildings and one apartment-style building.
The buildings are made out of poured-in-place concrete resting on an 18-inch thick mat foundation designed to mitigate both noise and vibration from the 'L' tracks.
The project is designed by world-renowned architect Helmut Jahn.
